what is the omni
cultural tv fest
The Omni Cultural TV Fest is a unique platform for independent producers of all
cultures worldwide to showcase new ideas for television and over-the-top (OTT)
platforms, offering content creators the opportunity of presenting their original
work in front of legitimate buyers. Our unique all-inclusive visual expo will focus on
linear and OTT content and will support emerging talent - addressing a universal
need in the entertainment industry.
The Omni Cultural TV Fest will connect independent producers, creators, and
talent through innovative networking activities and panels. Our mission is to
unite and celebrate all cultures, ethnicities, religions, and sexual preferences. The
one-day festival, celebrating diversity and inclusion, will take place at a major
venue with multiple screening rooms in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area in
June, 2020.
In 2019, co-founders Kiki Melendez and Cindy Cowan, along with our partner,
NATPE, successfully launched the inaugural Omni Cultural TV Fest event on May 1st
at the iconic Egyptian Theater in the heart of Hollywood. Our critically acclaimed
festival was attended by over 2,000 industry professionals -- all supporting our
mission of celebrating diversity and discovering exciting new talent.
